Financial advice over the phone
How you invest your super, and what you contribute along the way, has a direct impact on your future savings. Making sure you position yourself to make the most of your super and improve your financial outcomes is a key priority for Maritime Super.
As a member of the Fund, not only do you have access to full personal financial advice through our financial planners, you now also have access to what’s called ‘limited advice’.
Basically, this means you can call and ask a financial planner about a single issue – for example, which investment option to invest in, or how much extra salary to contribute to your super account – and they can provide you with guidance on your specific area of interest.
This is a new service for members, and is free of charge.
You’ll get personal advice over the phone that takes into account your relevant circumstances. Simply call us to speak to a planner who can help you straight away. Limited advice is available only in relation to your investment strategy in the Fund and/or salary sacrifice contribution strategy. The financial planner will ask you a series of questions to assess your risk profile and financial goals, so allow around 20 minutes for your phone call.
